About Us

Who We Are

Our mission is to promote trade and investment between the East African Community (EAC) and the rest of the world to improve the quality of life for everyone.

“The East Africa Business Network (EABN) was formally established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit ‘business league’ by business women and men who invest, trade, mentor and coach throughout the entire EAC and around the world to improve the lives and livelihoods of the many diaspora communities collaborating. It has been an 20+ year labor of love for the all-volunteer leadership team to “give back” from Africa to America and all points in-between, regardless of which diverse trade route around the world is taken.

Originally founded as the East African Chamber of Commerce (EACC), 2022 proved to be a growth and transformation year while filing our DBA “EABN” to emphasize our business networking commitment to promote trade and investment between the diaspora communities of EAC and the rest of the world.

Our work centers around introducing and promoting providers, suppliers, investors, manufactures, producers and all other roles in myriad supply chain communities across all industries to each other in order to build and expand sustainable trade with honor, dignity and education on ‘best practices’. Our work reaches far beyond traditional chamber mandates, thus we have pivoted our brand to match the higher calling of simply, socially good business networking for all those wishing to join us is this fresh and expanded journey. Every individual matters and is valued in our network.”

Chair Woman

On behalf of the East Africa Business Network (EABN), it is my honor to welcome you to our 21st Annual Trade & Investment Conference. For more than two decades, EABN has brought together entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders, professionals, and diaspora members to build relationships, exchange ideas, and create opportunities that connect East Africa with the United States and the global community.

Our 2026 theme, “Building Wealth Across Borders: Capital, Innovation, Investment & Opportunity,” reflects both the opportunities before us and the importance of collaboration in turning those opportunities into meaningful economic impact. Through conversations on finance, real estate, emerging technology, women’s leadership, and entrepreneurship, we will explore how capital, ideas, relationships, and innovation can create pathways to sustainable wealth and shared prosperity.

This conference is more than a gathering—it is a platform for connection, collaboration, investment, and action. 2026 Conference Key Note Speaker

Dr. Kenny Harless is an entrepreneur, educator, international speaker, and health and wellness advocate dedicated to helping people transform their health and their lives. Trained as a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Harless has spent years studying metabolic health, insulin resistance, nutrition, and lifestyle strategies.

His passion for this work became deeply personal after he and his wife experienced their own significant health transformations. Those experiences helped shape a mission centered on education, prevention, and empowering individuals and families to take a more active role in their health. Today, Dr. Harless uses social media, live education, mentorship, and speaking engagements to reach people around the world.

His educational content focuses on metabolic health, nutrition, healthy lifestyle habits, and making complex health concepts understandable and actionable for everyday people. Beyond health education, Dr. Harless is an entrepreneur and business mentor who is passionate about developing leaders, creating economic opportunity, and helping others build businesses capable of making a meaningful impact in their families and communities. At the heart of his work is a simple mission: to help people gain the knowledge, tools, and opportunities they need to create healthier lives, stronger families, and lasting generational impact.

Dr. Harless lives in Florida with his family and continues to expand his educational and entrepreneurial work throughout the United States and internationally.
